INDIANAPOLIS – As wildfire smoke continues to blanket parts of North America, Carrier is rolling out a new initiative to help families and businesses breathe easier indoors.
The HVAC giant recommends three key steps to improve indoor air quality: upgrading filters, sealing gaps to block smoke, and using portable HEPA air purifiers.
“Wildfire smoke poses serious health risks, and clean indoor air is more important than ever,” said Nick Arch, Vice President of Residential Solutions at Carrier. “Our technology is built to protect people when outdoor air turns dangerous.”
Carrier is also supporting affected communities by donating $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to Los Angeles schools and frontline workers.
